In this census record taken August 15th Adonijah 35 yrs and Ann 35 yrs have children Sheldon R. 11 yrs, Josiah M. 8 yrs, Mary L. 7 yrs, and Harry M. 1 year old. Adonijah lists his Value of Real Estate is $400, and Personal Estate is $200. Sheldon, Josiah, and Mary all are listed as attending school within the year. Census taken by John Kelly

In this census taken June 1st Adonijah 55 yrs and Ann 55 yrs have children Josiah M. 28 yrs, Mary L. (Ferree-Chase) 26 yrs (divorced), Rose E. 14 yrs., and Cora J. 10 yrs living at home. They also have their grandson by Mary, Elmer A. Chase age 6 yrs living with them. Adonijah indicates he has had no period of unemployment during the year. Josiah is recorded as working the farm with his father. Adonijah's parents have been recorded as Father born in Pennsylvania and Mother born in Germany in this record.
