In this census taken Augustus is actually 27 yrs old and his wife falls into the same age category for the census. Augustus's family is recorded with persons in the household falling into the following age categories: 1 Males 16 & upwards, 1 Males 16 & under, and 1 Female. Other Woolly families living in Westminster are his father Nathan, and brother Amasa Woolly.

In this census taken Augustus is actually 47 yrs and his wife falls into the same age category. Augustus’ houshold is recorded in the following age categories: 1 Male under 10 yrs, and 1 Male over 45 yrs; 2 Females under 10 yrs, 2 Female 16 thru 25 yrs, and 1 Female over 45 yrs. Additionally discovered in this census they are inquiring of US citizens how much cloth they posses and of what type Woolen, Linen, Cotton, or Mixed. I have not determined what measurement criteria was used nor the purpose for this tabulation but include here what was recorded for Thomas's household; Woolen = 20, Linen = 90, Cotton = 20. Other Woolly families living in Westminster are William W. Wooley. Additionally listed is 4 Number of persons engaged in Agriculture in Augustus' household.
Note 1870:
In this census taken June 21st Eliza W. is living with her daughter Eliza Marie 29 yrs, her husband William Cone 35 yrs and Eliza's children Edward T. 12 yrs, Alfred W. 6 yrs, Grace 3 yrs, and an infant 1 month old (born in May) who has not been named as yet. Additionally William's father Stephen 70 yrs is living with them as well as Eliza's older brother George Warren Cone 32 yrs. They also have a Farm laborer Theodore Smith 21 yrs living on and working the farm with Eliza's husband. Eliza's brother George is recorded to be a Lawyer in this census record. In this census taken June 3rd and 4th Eliza W. 77 yrs and widowed is recorded as "at home on a visit" with her daughter Eliza Marie 39 yrs, her husband William Cone 45 yrs and Eliza Marie's children Alfred W. 16 yrs, Grace 13 yrs, May 10 yrs, and Ernest R. 4 yrs. Additionally Eliza Marie's father-in-law Stephen Cone 80 yrs a widower is still living with them since the last census and his occupation is recorded to be a Broom Maker. Note: Eliza W. has indicated her father's birthplace to be Connecticut and mother's to be Massachusetts. Census taken by B. M. Wilson
