Notes Marriage 1713:
They were married at the First Dutch Church. Philip then took Catherine at once with him to the 1000 acres of land acquired by his father-in-law Abraham DuBois along the Pequea Creek (this area later became Lancaster County). Catherine's father followed in 1717.
Occupation:
His son's Joel and Jacob made gunpowder for the continental army at French's Creek near Kimberton, Chester Co., PA late in the Revolutionary War.
