In this census taken June 11th Sheldon 53 yrs and Rachel 49 yrs have Mabel age 10 yrs, Nephews; Harvey Heath 7 yrs and Carl 5 yrs (both born in Nebraska) living at home. They indicate they have been married for 27 yrs and Rachel's states she is the mother of 5 children born with 3 living. Their house is recorded as owned free of mortgage. In this census taken April 20th Sheldon 62 yrs and Rachel 59 yrs have no children living at home. Sheldon and Racheal state they have been married for 37 years and Racheal indicates she is the mother of 5 children born with 3 living. A little info about Spring Grove, it is in the town (township to the rest of the world) of Green Lake right on the southern edge of Green Lake itself. The Chase's could have either gone around the lake to the city of Green Lake, south to Markesan, or over the county line to Ripon in Fond du Lac county to shop, attend church, etc.
